The reaction to this has been really interesting. Seems like there's a lot of disappointment that it's a more generic/standard pop sound. It's definitely more commercial so I guess I can understand that for folks who like their weirder stuff. But I'm basic and I can like something simple, fun, and catchy. I feel like this has stronger melodious parts and less of the discordant and/or monotone shout-y sound of their last few leads, which I had a hard time with.
