Catching up with monthly posts part 4.

Similar to March, I liked a lot of the Idol/Pop stuff this month. Despite that I have a couple of mellow indie vibe tracks for my top choices. Pop under the cut!

eAeon's 'Don't' which features RM is heavily reminiscent of RM's last album 'mono' and the collab they worked on for that project. The mood and feel of that whole project is so beautiful to me, so seeing them work together in the same realm was really satisfying.

Then sEODo's 'hOMe' feels like it departs just a little bit from the 'Joseon Pop' label typically applied to the band. It's still there, but this one feels more focused on being an emotive rock ballad. Seo Jae Hyun's vocal tone just does so much to elevate all his work. Love it.

I like the concept/genre choice here, but I feel like there's a disconnect with the vocals. A little too sharp and bright for the more relaxed chill vibes of the track. It's cute though. The cocktails/drinks imagery is fun. Summer has definitely arrived in K-Pop!
