[MV] Yukari - Am I Dreaming

[MV] Cokejazz & Hoody - Blue Horizon

[MV] SISTAR - Shake It

Interesting to have AOA and SISTAR pitted against each other today. Both totally derivative summer anthems. Both pretty unspectacular. Similar MV settings.

While I'm a little disappointed the comic book theme of SISTAR's teasers wasn't stronger, this MV still comes out on top for me. Purely by virtue of the contagious energy. I love the way these four genuinely look like they're having a blast as they perform, no matter how gratuitous the context is. And I can see easily that there will be Kpop fans with the exact opposite reaction and prefer AOA. Which is cool!

Also wondering how many times that long-haired bro will be the obligatory MV creep. Lol.

[MV] AOA - Heart Attack

That boob gesture in the choreo is so awkward. Lmao.

[MV] Teen Top - ah-ah

That diner looks familiar. ;)

[MV] MAMAMOO - Um Oh Ah Yeh

Fun song.
Enjoying the gender bend, but not here for the drink-drugging and general harassment.
Lol. Ridiculous.

[MV] BIG BANG - WE LIKE 2 PARTY

This isn't just my favorite of their current promotions... it's a favorite out of their whole disco. The song isn't innovative or special, but it's just a feel-good jam and I love that. The MV took me way back to Sunset Glow. Relatively unfiltered goofiness. Fun. Ridiculousness.

Daesung playing bottles like a violin is everything.

For concerts, I can imagine entire stadiums screaming their way through the chorus. ^^

[MV] A. KOR BLACK - HOW WE DO

New sub-unit for A.KOR with Kemy and MinJu.

[MV] WE ARE THE NIGHT - Star, Fire, Night

[MV] HIGH4 - Baby Boy

The contrast between the verses and chorus is amusing.

[MV] ANDA - Touch

Gently NSFW for sexual context.

MV feels like a Kpop-ized tribute to Fiona Apple's Criminal, which is interesting.

[MV] Young Vinyls - Rhyme Traveling

[MV] Billy Acoustic - Her Micro Attraction Warnings

[MV] Boys Republic - Hello

[MV] HALO - While You're Sleeping

[MV] CROWN J - LOLO

NSFW-ish: Every contemporary hip-hop cliche imaginable... lyrically and visually. Lol.

Crown J is back after forever.
Can't say he's not consistent... thematically speaking.
