So September was a bit quieter than usual and then October was packed! Enjoyed a lot of stuff this month. My top choices were ITZY's 'Imaginary Friend' which is contending for my Song of the Year along with ROSÉ's smash hit 'APT'. Totally different feels between these two. ITZY's nails the kind of darkly ethereal jam I love and then aaapateu apateu aaapateu apateu is simply an irresistible bop.

I was so badly burnt out by the end of last year I took some weeks to decompress and chill. Barely kept up with music in 2024 with my attention pulled in too many directions, so I was behind anyway. And then also just recognizing that the political situation is psychologically crushing me at the moment. 😬

Trying to find the energy and to develop a plan to catch up. All of this is purely pressure I'm putting on myself, so who cares! But I wanna keep going, dang it! So I'll get there... eventually.

I believe this is a tourism promotional thing for Gyeongsangbuk-do. Thought it was really cool. Kinda funny that it's promoting Hanok, traditional Korean architecture and culture in general, using Korean instruments, and then the song is fully in English. Heh. I get that it's trying to appeal to foreigners, but still. Sounds sick though! Love KARDI.
