A bit overdue, but I should give Shaun a post. He's a member of the band The KOXX, who I love. He released a little solo project and this song, with no promotion whatsoever, trended massively and ended up topping every chart. Over a month later, it's still #1 on MelOn currently.
There were many accusations of 'sajaegi' or chart manipulation. But it's also just lovely catchy little song that can be enjoyed widely by diverse audiences. So whether there was anything cheat-y about how it got going, it has continued to trend well beyond that.
