[MV] SNSD - Catch Me If You Can

This is the Korean version of a Japanese release, but this was released first.
I don't think there are plans to promote it in Korea.

  1. I don't know why I've seen so many comments of disappointment over this song/video. It's fun, well executed, has a lot of energy, and stands out as a new concept for them. It's no more repetitive than any other song with a chorus, and it feels balanced in displaying all the girls' vocal talents. Plus, the choreography is sharp as hell. I hope they continue in this direction.

    1. I'm with you on the choreography and that the balance of lines is good. The main disappointment seems to stem from the song switching between two 'sounds', neither of which is very interesting or well-produced. Fairly derivative EDM stuff. Fans are probably harsher on SNSD because they have higher expectations. So I can see how the video being just a dance video and the song being basic EDM might not go over well with Sones and long-time Kpop fans. But the quality is not unusual for filler Japanese singles because the speed of the industry runs a lot faster there.

I don't have much of an opinion either way. They look great though!
