[MV] Jessi - NUNA NANA
This whole thing screams Jessi at about a million decibels. Lol.
Hyori cameo, but I don't think she's on the track. Not yet anyway. More collaboration to come from these ladies.
[MV] Eric Nam - Paradise
Eric consistently putting out super catchy tunes. The track is interesting on this one.
[OST] XIA - Why Can't You Love Me
From Mozart! the Musical. A new recording for 2020.
Just indulging myself here until Junsu decides to make a new pop album. Been musical theater all the way since he got done with military service.

[STATION] Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra - End of a day (orig. Jonghyun)
Oof. Hearing Jonghyun's work this way made me cry.

[MV] EXID - B.L.E.S.S.E.D (Jpn.)
Still bringing the Japanese releases. LE rapping in Korean/English though.
[REMAKE] JeGaYo (Jessi x Song Gain x Kim Yohan) - Life is good (2020 ver.)
Collab project for a KBS show called 'War of Villains'.
Cool to hear Song Gain singing in a more 'pop' style... and rapping!
[STATION] Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra - Red Flavor (orig. Red Velvet)
Special orchestral version. Fun!
[DEBUT] THE MIDNIGHT ROMANCE - MIDNIGHT ROMANCE
Debuting band. Kinda like The Solutions with the English.
[MV] NiziU - Make you happy
Update: Giving this a bump now that there's a Korean version.

[MV] GFRIEND - Apple
Being under the Big Hit umbrella is looking really good on them here. The instrumental/rhythm is very slightly reminding me of something else that I can't place. Quite like it.
[DEBUT] XRO - Chuckle & Welcome To My Jungle
The order of releases is confusing. Not sure if 'Chuckle' is the full debut.
The Welcome To My Jungle track is... problematic. Oof.
[COVER] SSAK3 (feat. Hwang Kwanghee) - In Summer
Project group formed on MBC variety show ‘Hangout with Yoo’.

[MONTHLY] Favorites for JUNE 2020
My first half of the year playlist is in the making. Painfully aware that I never finished my full 2019 post. It'll happen. So much to do!
Pulled through yet another personally stressful month. There were a bunch of major releases in June, especially all the ladies near the end. I continue to not like much that's coming from big groups while the loud EDM fanfare trend carries on. Typically I'm only liking stuff if it's outside of this trend.
SUNMI, Hwasa, and N.Flying have my favorite tracks from the popular folks. But I'm grabbing lesser-knowns for my top spots. Moonshine's 'Broken Glass' and its great groove and Maytree with their chill acappella dynamic will stand as my eclectic faves for June.
In the full post: THE SOLUTIONS, BANG YE DAM, LEENALCHI, HA SUNG WOON, Jay Park, Choi Ye Geun, BTS, Jung Seung Hwan, ODDCHILD, Maddox, Neul, N.Flying, Peterpan Complex, SUNMI, WOODZ, and Hwasa.

[MV] HUH CHAN MI - I'm fine thanks
It's so frustrating when directors don't know how to shoot dancing. Poor guy is hitting all these great extensions and the camera is like, 'Time to zoom in on his torso where nothing is happening!'. Lol.

[MV] IRENE & SEULGI - Monster
SM messed up with delaying this release super awkwardly. Lol.
I think the song is a little too wub-wub-y for me, but I kinda dig it anyway. Slightly reminds me of Taeyeon's 'I Got Love'. Similar vibe. I quite like the MV treatment with the styling and sets. It has a similar sparkle and polish to BlackPink's stuff, but this feels way more cohesive to me.
The other tracks on the mini lean a little more R&B/'velvet' and it's pretty nice.
[MV] Chung Ha (feat. Changmo) - PLAY
I still prefer Stay Tonight, but this is fun and summery. Great dancing.

[MV] VERIVERY - Thunder
Quite like this one even though it's on the noisy end. The chorus is interesting.
[MV] 40 - Lonely Night
Pretty sure the English title should be Lonely Night, but 1theK says Lonley Night.
